玉同士がめり込んでるときはあたり判定をしないようにしたら、もう少しましになりますよ。

衝突判定におけるめりこみ補正処理というのは、アクションゲームにおける永遠のテーマだと思うのは僕だけでしょうか。
めりこみ補正処理で僕が理想としているのは、めりこみ（penetrating）が発生したら、衝突した二つの物体を本来あるべき位置まで戻すという処理です。文章で伝えるのが難しい・・・。単にめりこみがなくなる接触状態まで物体の位置を戻すだけでなく、衝突による速度の変化、衝突発生時刻から処理を行う時刻までの時間を考慮した上で、適切な位置に戻す、という処理です。なんてわかりにくいんだ・・・。

しかし、こういう処理は堂々巡りしてしまうような気がしますし、実験的にプログラムを組んでもなかなかうまく動きませんね。ということで、そのくらい大雑把に組んでしまったほうがいいのかもしれません。

お題のめりこみ補正をどう実装するかは、ゲーム中にユーザーへ与える「手応え感」に関してとても重大な役割を持っています。特に3D格闘ゲーム系やレースゲームでは、やり方がまずいとゲーム性を台無しにしてしまいます。

例は完全に主観ですが、バーチャファイターシリーズは大変うまくいっており、ソウル〜シリーズはゲーム性を大きく下げてしまっていると思われます。

バーチャファイターでは攻撃がヒットした直後、喰らった側だけが攻撃した側にめりこまない姿勢に一瞬で変化することで、ユーザーは攻撃する側が一定の硬さを持っているようなリアリティを感じられます（これは"適切な位置に戻す"という方法ではなくて、第三の手法ですね）。最近だと"NARUTO"の必殺技シーンでも同様でした。

他方、ソウル〜シリーズでは（長い武器を持っているので仕方ない側面も多々ありますが…）派手な攻撃がヒットしてもすり抜けるので、攻防がいかにもゲームらしく真剣味に欠ける感触になってしまっています。

映像技術的にはどちらも文句ナシに一流ですが、このほんのちょっとの違いが決定的な質感の差につながっていると思います。
3Dでめり込み補正を行っている作品は少ないですよねー。海外ゲームだとわりと真面目に物理演算を行っているものが多いようですけど。

僕は市販ゲームをあまりやらない(安月給)のでアレですが、あまり適当な処理をしてしまうとプレーヤーたちがコントローラを投げ捨てかねませんよね。ゲームにおいては、映像のきれいさではムービーに勝てないので、操作してるときに感じられる充実感（インタラクティビティとでもいうのでしょうか）、”ぽさ”はすごく大切にしないといけない気がします（ちなみに、NaGu-Ruはだめです）。

攻撃する側を重んじるとすれば、有効な手段ですね。
セガともなると、どんな方法でもめり込み補正を実装できて、ゲーム性を考えた結果、こういう処理を選んだ、という気がしてなりません（これは推測でしかも僕の希望です）。

僕は今後「適切な位置に戻す」方法でやっていこうと思うのですが、爆プさんはどういう方法でやってこられたのですか？

ソウル〜シリーズも同様ですが、倒れたときのIK（姿勢のリアルタイム逆算）などの高度なテクニックをさらっと使っているので、通常のめりこみ補正ぐらいは簡単にできるはずです。

めりこみ補正だけにかかわらず一般論ですが、ゲーム内の物理系表現では
●A.　リアリティを尊重した方針
●B.　プレイアビリティを尊重した方針
の二者はたいてい相反してしまいます。ゲーム性を重要視するのであればB.派になるわけです。

2D時代だとマンガやアニメからA.的にもB.的にも高レベルの表現技法をさっと借りてこれたのに、3Dになってシーンのパースが現実に近くなると、2Dで使えた表現技法がうまく持ってこれないケースが多々出てきました。めりこみ補正をゲーム内でどう扱うかについても同様、困った問題です。
現状は、誰もが試行錯誤しているところじゃないでしょうか。僕の場合は、ケース毎で変えています。
●プレーヤーユニット　ｘ　地形や壁　→　まじめに補正
●プレーヤーユニット　ｘ　敵ユニット　→　プレイアビリティ最優先で最低限の補正
●プレーヤーの必殺技級　ｘ　敵ユニット　→　敵側だけを補正
…という感じです。もちろん、作品ごとでも変わってきます。

ただ、僕の3D作品で今世に出ているものでは実現できてません(^^;　現在取り組んでいる作品でようやく取り入れはじめたところです。それでこのトピックに目が行ったわけです(^^

僕としては、完全にプレイアビリティ重視で、ただし違和感を感じるようであればリアリティ寄りの味付けを施す、というスタイルで行きたいと考えています。
スポーツとかで、本当に緊張する一瞬てのは時間が長く感じられるものですよね。ゲーム内のそういう場面では時間をちょっとゆっくりにしたりすると、ぐっとリアルな印象になりますし、処理が遅いおかげで肝心な場面での正確な操作が可能になり、ユーザーさんの「肝心な場面でうまくいった！」という満足感を引き出しやすいです。こういう一石二鳥をいつでも貪欲に狙っていきたいです(^^


ちらっと仰ってる「実験的にプログラムを組んでもなかなかうまく動きません

とにかく作ってみて、しばらくそれを眺めてたら何がダメなのかはっきりしてきますから、ストレス要因や調整方針がどんどん明らかになってくれます。

その一方で、なんとか衝突も含めてキャラクタの動きを物理シミュっぽく、f = maという物理の大原則に従って実現できないかなぁと思ってます。

たとえば現実世界では、アッパーで人が何メートルも中に舞い上がることはありませんが、一瞬だけものすごく大きな力を与えるという方法で、こういったゲーム的な運動をさせることは可能ですし・・・（本当に全てを計算すると、人間の体に限界が来て何かが起こるんでしょうが）。
